The shape carries a message
A cave cookie and a line arrow can have the same name and colours, but they do different jobs. Choose the marker type first, then personalise it.

| Type | What it communicates |
|---|---|
| Arrow | A directional reference. Permanent line arrows commonly point towards the nearest exit along the guideline; local conventions matter. |
| Cookie | A non-directional reference belonging to the diver or team that placed it. A name or initials identify the owner. |
| REM | A referencing exit marker. It provides a directional reference for its owner, while other teams treat it as a personal marker rather than an exit instruction. |
These distinctions follow TDI’s guide to directional and non-directional markers ↗. Identification by touch matters as well as appearance, and placement conventions belong to your training and team procedures.
Classic, faceted or playful?
Our Classic collection has rounded corners. The Faceted collection uses chamfered corners and includes an octagonal cookie. Both offer plain cookies, arrows and REMs with space for your name.
The Playful collection adds bottle and food silhouettes. A mochi face is decoration; it does not change a cookie’s role. If you choose an unfamiliar silhouette, check that your team recognises the intended marker type by feel as well as sight.
Once you have picked the type, compare the available sizes and the space for your name.
